PsychologyAU offers confidential psychology for police, fire, emergency and rescue staff and volunteers, with experience supporting high-pressure and uniformed work. Sessions are private and professional, whether by telehealth from wherever you are or in person in Cleveland.
Queensland Police, SES & MRQ (SelfRefer)
If you are a QPS, SES or MRQ employee or volunteer, the SelfRefer program funds up to 6 psychology sessions each financial year (1 July to 30 June), at no out-of-pocket cost. You can refer yourself directly, with no permission or manager approval needed.
Queensland Fire Department (FESSN)
If you are QFD or QFES staff or a volunteer, the FESSN program funds an initial 4 sessions with no out-of-pocket cost to you, and these are also available to your immediate family. You can self-refer directly, with no approval needed.

Confidentiality
What you share in session stays in session, within the standard professional and legal limits that apply to all psychology care. Your employer, service or agency does not receive session content.
