How to book

How to book in six steps: click Book Now, select Book appointment, register an account or log in, choose your service, choose a date and time, then review and confirm

Your first session

The first session is about getting to know each other and understanding what has brought you here, there is no need to have it all worked out. Together you will get clear on what you would like to focus on and how Lynn can best support you. Sessions are 50 minutes, completely confidential, and adhere to professional ethical guidelines.

Is telehealth right for you?

Telehealth psychology suits many people, but not every situation. So you get the right support, PsychologyAU telehealth is not suitable if you are in immediate danger or crisis, experiencing active self-harm or risk of harm to others, under 18, or living with a current, unmanaged condition that needs coordinated specialist or in-person care. If any of these apply, your GP can help you find the most appropriate support.

Wherever you are

Sessions come to you. Whether you are in a Brisbane suburb, a regional Queensland town, a remote community, or another state entirely, you can see the same psychologist by secure video or phone. You simply need to be physically located in Australia at the time of your session. Sessions are for adults (18+).

Frequently asked questions

Is online therapy right for me?

Telehealth psychology is a well-established and widely used way to access support across Australia. Many adults find it works well for them and value being able to speak from their own space. It suits a range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, stress and trauma, and your psychologist can help you decide whether it is the right fit for your situation.

Do I need a referral?

Not for private sessions, you can book directly. For Medicare rebates you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, and for WorkCover a GP referral and claim number. Veterans using DVA cover need a referral from their GP, recorded on a DVA D904 referral voucher. Currently serving ADF members are referred through their on-base Health Centre or Medical Officer, with care arranged through Bupa’s ADF Health Services. First responders (SelfRefer or FESSN) can self-refer. If you are claiming through private health insurance, check whether your fund requires a referral.

What do I need for a session?

A private, quiet space and a phone, tablet or computer with a stable internet connection. You will receive a secure link to join your session. Sessions run on Zoom through the Zanda platform, so you can join straight from your web browser with nothing to download, or, if you prefer, use the free Zoom app, the same link works for both. Zoom uses encrypted, secure video to help keep your session private.

How long are sessions and what do they cost?

Sessions are 50 minutes (one clinical hour). The private fee is $220. Medicare, WorkCover and NDIS pathways may reduce or cover this, see the Fees & Rebates page for details. First responders, current-serving Defence members and DVA cardholders may have sessions funded through their own programs, see the First Responders & Veterans page.

Who do you work with?

Adults (18+) across Australia, including first responders, veterans, injured workers, and Private, Medicare and NDIS clients.
